Six good options, six different strengths

These are positive use-case fits, not a ranking. A company can be excellent for one workflow and less relevant to another.

PSA

PSA connects grading with population data, certification records, optional vault storage and eBay selling. Compare the available tier with the exact card and your intended destination; brand familiarity alone does not establish a resale premium.

On September 30, 2026, Standard is $59.99 per card up to $1,000 maximum insured value; Priority is $79.99 up to $1,500. Value and Value Bulk remain unavailable. Fanatics Collect separately lists PSA starting at $59.99.

CGC

CGC gives collectors two appealing paths. Direct tiers work well for individual and bulk submissions, while Fanatics Collect currently publishes a lower-cost CGC Cards grading route with no submission limit.

On September 30, 2026, Economy is $20 per card; Bulk Economy is $17 with a 25-card minimum. Both cap fair market value at $500. Standard is $55 up to $3,000. Fanatics Collect separately lists CGC grading at $11.

SGC

SGC's detailed condition scale can help collectors research older cards across a wide range of grades. Its September 2026 price change makes a fresh total-cost comparison important before submitting.

Following SGC's September 2 service update, direct Standard was $50 per card up to $1,500 declared value on September 30, 2026. Fanatics Collect separately listed SGC at $60 per card with no submission-volume minimum.

TAG

TAG stands out for its visual grading experience. Eligible modern cards receive detailed imaging and a DIG report that can make the assigned grade easier to understand and share.

The live September 30, 2026 submission screen offers Base at $39.95 with a five-card minimum and Standard at $59.95. Included protection is $500 and $1,000 per card respectively; these protection amounts are not maximum card-value eligibility limits.

Arena Club

Arena Club is a convenient choice for collectors who want grading, storage, collection management, and selling tools in one place. Its flat-rate Grade and Vault option creates a simple path from raw card to marketplace-ready inventory.

Grade and Vault was listed at $14 per card and Grade and Return at $15 per card on September 30, 2026. Arena Club described both as flat-rate services regardless of card value.

Advanced Grading

Advanced Grading offers great value for the price when you have enough cards for a bulk submission. Its published rates improve with order size, and the process combines multi-angle imaging and AI-assisted analysis with human quality control.

Basic was listed at $13 per card with a 50-card order size on September 30, 2026. Silver was $11 at 250 cards and Gold was $9 at 500 cards.
