Find out whether you bought delivery or inventory
COMC's current guide distinguishes a shopping-cart purchase paid by card or supported digital payment from cards held in an account. Store Credit purchases, consignments and transfers first enter Inventory Manager. That separation lets a collector accumulate cards over time and request one shipment later. It also explains why a purchased card may appear in a collection without a tracking number.
Locate the actual order or inventory entry before reporting a delay. If you have a shipment request number, review that request. If you only have a card purchase record, you may not yet have asked for physical delivery. Do not buy the same card again merely because the first purchase remains visible in inventory. Match the item identifier, especially when you own several copies of the same issue.
Select the exact cards you want in the parcel
Open Inventory Manager from your account menu. COMC's instructions use Add to Shipment in each card's Action menu for items not already selected. Cards marked Ready to Ship are included in the next request. Review the selection before continuing so a card intended for resale does not accidentally join a personal collection shipment.
Use a short packing list of your own: item ID, player, set, card number and expected quantity. If two copies share the same description, identify which copy belongs in the order. The fictional example below separates a selected purchase from a card intentionally left behind. This is an inventory-control exercise, not a claim that every account uses an identical screen layout.
| Inventory item | Decision | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Copy A, Example Set #12 | Add to shipment | Personal collection copy |
| Copy B, same issue | Leave in inventory | Separate copy reserved for sale |
| Example Set #44 | Add to shipment | Completes the intended batch |
Read the address, packaging and date together
Choose Request Shipment, confirm the destination and inspect the complete item list. The next stage presents packaging and shipping choices. Some holder types do not offer optional top loaders, so an unavailable control is not automatically a missing protection option. Check the service quote using the actual destination, not another collector's screenshot.
COMC's shipping-time help points to its postal-code quote for current estimates and says a submitted request cannot be upgraded later. It also says shipments across multiple days and services cannot be combined after placement. If you need several cards for one event, select them together and choose an appropriate service before confirming. Do not interpret an estimated ship date as the date the parcel will be at your door.
Separate purchase date, ship estimate and delivery
Consider a fictional collector who buys cards on October 1, 4 and 9, then submits one shipment request on October 10. The purchases did not each start a delivery journey. The relevant fulfillment estimate is the one shown for the October 10 request. Carrier transit begins only after dispatch; a shipping-service name alone does not replace the fulfillment estimate.
For an event on November 1, work backward from the required arrival date and allow for both processing and transit uncertainty. If the quote does not fit, do not assume customer service will later accelerate it. You can choose another offered service or reconsider the plan before placing the request. Our dates are illustrative and are not a prediction of COMC's current queue.

- DispatchTracking begins the carrier journey.
Schematic. Original fulfillment timeline with symbolic stages; it is not an actual order or a delivery guarantee.
Finish the request and reconcile arrival
Complete the final Send shipment request action and keep its confirmation. Merely marking cards for shipping does not substitute for submitting the request. Record the total charge, selected service, address and estimated ship date. Use the request ID in any support message so the team can find the correct batch without guessing from a player's name.
When tracking becomes available, follow the carrier record separately from COMC's fulfillment status. On arrival, compare the contents against the saved item list before putting the cards away. Keep packaging and clear images if an item is missing or damaged. If the estimate has passed without an update, report the request date, selected service and displayed status factually; repeated duplicate requests can make the history harder to follow.
Frequently asked questions
Why has my Store Credit purchase not shipped?
Store Credit purchases stay in inventory until you submit a shipment request. Check whether you have completed a request, rather than only purchased or selected the card.
Does Ready to Ship mean it has been mailed?
No. In the documented workflow it means the item is selected for the next shipment request. Look for request confirmation and later tracking to follow fulfillment.
Can I combine a new request with an earlier one?
COMC’s shipping-time guidance says shipments across multiple days and services cannot be combined after orders are placed. Build the desired batch before confirming.
Can I pay an inventory shipment with no Store Credit?
The current inventory-shipping guide says COMC Store Credit is required. Review the account balance and total quote before submitting the request.
