The plain-English answer

Five useful identity anchors now include 2023 Prizm Throwback #PT-AM, the 2023 Saturday Star Signatures Gold autograph #51 numbered to 10, 2024 Prizm Draft Picks #192, 2025 Prizm Draft Picks #166, and the 2025 National VIP Rated Prospects Gold #RP1 numbered to 10. The linked Fanatics Collect examples are in CGC Auth and PSA 10 holders, but those holder details belong only to the listed copies. The new Bowman paper BPP-ALT1 and Chrome ALT-1 are separate additions. None of these cards is an NFL rookie card.

Identify first. Compare condition and sales second.

Arch Manning: four starts and a new checklist

Texas records four starts in 2026, including a 201-yard passing game against Tennessee on September 26. Bowman now supplies paper BPP-ALT1 and Chrome ALT-1 prospect records. Keep those college issues separate from future NFL rookies.

Reviewed September 30. The Gold RP1 Fanatics page now shows September 13 sales history of $780 and a separate $796 Guide Price; neither prices the new Bowman cards.

Back check
Match Arch Manning and card number 166.

Make a fair comparison

These rules keep different cards from being mixed into one result.

  1. Match the full year, product, card number, and named version before comparing two cards.
  2. Keep college or prospect cards separate from later NFL rookie cards. They answer different checklist questions.
  3. Compare a base card with the same base card, or match the exact parallel, autograph, serial run, and grade.
  4. Use completed sales as evidence. An unsold asking price only shows what a seller hopes to receive.
  5. Keep the 2023 Saturday Star Signatures Gold autograph numbered to 10 separate from other Saturday Star Signatures parallels and from unsigned Prizm cards.
  6. Treat the 2025 National VIP Rated Prospects Gold #RP1 as a pre-NFL prospect issue. A marketplace title using rookie does not make it an NFL rookie card.

Inspect before you grade or sell

Condition is a separate question from card identity. Authentication is a separate question too.

  • Check the surface under direct light for scratches, print lines, dents, and roller marks.
  • Inspect all four corners and both edges for whitening, chips, or handling wear.
  • Compare border spacing on the front and back without assuming the scan is perfectly square.
  • Confirm the printed card number, serial stamp, and autograph language before assigning a version name.

Questions collectors ask

Short answers that can stand on their own in search.

Is Arch Manning guaranteed to be a 2026 Heisman finalist?

No. Arch Manning entered this watch group through preseason coverage. The September 30 review adds dated season context; this is not a current award ranking. Games, health, team results, and voting can change the field.

Are these Arch Manning cards NFL rookie cards?

No. The cards in this guide were issued before an NFL rookie season. They are early, college, or prospect issues and should stay separate from any future NFL rookie-card checklist.

Does a Heisman season guarantee that a card will rise in value?

No. Awards attention can increase searches, but card prices also depend on the exact product, supply, version, condition, timing, and buyer demand.

Which two Fanatics Collect Arch Manning cards are included in this guide?

The first is a 2023 Panini Prizm Draft Picks Saturday Star Signatures Gold autograph #51 numbered to 10 in a CGC Auth holder. The second is a 2025 Panini National VIP Rated Prospects Gold #RP1 numbered to 10 in a PSA 10 Gem Mint holder. Those holder details describe the linked copies, not every card in either family.

Is the 2025 National VIP Arch Manning Gold #RP1 an NFL rookie card?

No. Panini lists Arch Manning under Rated Prospects in the 2025 National VIP checklist. It is a pre-NFL college prospect issue even though the Fanatics Collect listing title uses the word rookie.
